There’s every chance that by the time that is applied it won’t even see them in the bottom 3 - they couldn’t have picked a better season for it to happen - the bottom 4 are arguably the worst the league has ever seen.

No chance Everton will be relegated this season. Onana and Doucoure are class. Harrison adds something they lacked last season and Branthwaite already looks world class.

There are a lot of much worse teams this season. Everton will finish top half this season.

Everton definitely won’t get relegated this season but Branthwaite world class(!) and a top ten finish is way OTT.

Everton were very poor until the last 5 games when they have hit a purple patch.

And i agree it's the best season to be punished for them because the bottom 3/4 are hopeless but they would be 7 points off safety if it hit currently.

Far from insurmountable but all it takes is 2 of those poor sides to have a purple patch and then Everton are in big bother.

I think they would manage it but it's Everton they could quite easily hit a long points drought and be well in the mix for going down.
